In Photos: The Seaside Adventure

Last Christmas vacation, the boys and I went to SM Seaside to see what the fuss is all about. Yep, it's the newest mall in town! And the biggest too! And I think a unique one because it's situated on the seaside. 

It's quite far from the usual residential areas of the city so it's not accessible via public utility jeepneys. Most of the mall-goers would take a cab or hire a motorcycle to bring them there. There's also the SM MyBus service that can bring people to and from the mall into certain parts of the city - either to Parkmall, SM City Cebu, or Talisay. You just need to purchase the MyBus prepaid card and load it. Fare for adults is Php25 while for senior citizens and kids is Php20. 

We took a cab upon going there and took the MyBus upon going home. If you have a kid, you know for sure how tiring it is to bring a kid around the mall especially if your kid keeps running around. Such was the case for Reiko and I.

It wasn't exactly a shopping spree or window shopping. We just walked around and went to the mountain wing and the roof garden. I must say it was where we enjoyed our time the most. There was a really nice view out there and this post is really just to show you that charming space. ;)

Here goes our little adventure.

At first, the roof garden felt too artificial but when you look around and see the sea and the mountains, wow, totally cool! I'm still waiting for what is expected to be an iconic viewing tower in the middle of the big building. More to come! ♥
